Warm Weather Protection - This has to go at the top of the list for obvious reasons if you own a Florida landscaping business. According to OSHA guidelines, you’ll want to have loose-fitting, breathable shirts, UV-absorbent sunglasses, and long pants tucked into socks or boots. That’s the minimum for handling the extreme heat, which we often endure from at least May through September. Colder Weather Protection - Although we don’t get frigid winters like they do in Michigan, the weather sometimes get a little chillier, like it did most recently. Visibility Enhancement - That part about wearing “lighter colors,” isn’t only about deflecting the UV rays, either.
