Inspired by the Florida-way of living, Chad Peterson and his wife noticed that the majority of this lifestyle was based on beaches and fishing. With a plethora of Florida souvenirs aside, they realized that there were not any “real representation of the Citrus State.” So in 2014, Chad and his wife started Livin Citrus, a brand of apparel and merchandise dedicated to the state that is widely known for its sun-kissed oranges.

Based in Sarasota, Florida, Living Citrus faced challenges in its early days, as Chad and his wife were both working full-time jobs.  Chad explains,

“... trying to get this brand some traction, keeping everything local in terms of graphics, printing, and distribution, has not been easy. One day I searched locally for what I needed and Salty Printing popped up. I reached out and was put in touch with Larry. He and his staff have basically taught me everything in regards to starting a brand on the backend. Every conversation was about positive growth and moving in the right direction. My only job was to sell. They took on, what I did not have time for.

Since our relationship began, I would not change a thing.”
